How did you find Hattrick? Great but addictive Where did your Hattrick team name come from? We were a bunch of Spurs fans in the same lab around the time hotmail started up and we all chose a name ending with spurs and starting with something our work related to, I worked on exocytosis, a particular process that occurs in cells and so it became exospurs. Some people misread it as exposure, that gave it an extra dimension How did you discover the wonders of the THFC Fed? I was looking for a fed where I could read more about Spurs than I hear in Belgium and the fed popped up in a search ... Why did you become a Spurs supporter? I moved to London for work in 1994 and I was very much into football (I started up a Departmental team 11-a-side) my mates convinced me Tottenham was my team and so I lost my soul to them! Favourite current Spurs player? Jermaine Defoe Greatest ever Spurs player? Gary Lineker Worst ever Spurs player? Savage, may be he is a good player but I absolutely hate his attitude Greatest Spurs manager? I do not know that many, George Graham I could follow closely and I think he was great for a while Worst Spurs manager? I expected a lot more from Santini What has been the high point and low point of the current Spurs season for you? I think the 5-2 against Everton was memorable and so was the 3-0 loss to Palace a few weeks later What was the first Spurs match that you saw? (WHL and TV) On TV I probaly saw a FA Cup Final when I was a kid (they broadcast FA Cup Finals in Belgium) and the first time at the lane was 18 March 1995 against Leicester What is the most memorable Spurs match you have seen and why? The Worthington Cup Final in 1999 ... because we won! This was also my one and only visit to Wembley. What was the worst Spurs match you have ever seen? The first one because all the others that I saw were better. Do you own any Spurs football shirts? What designs? I have the full 1998-99 home kit which I still wear when I play for fun with my mates. Favourite Spurs shirt design? I think the one I have is the nicest one of the last decade. If you could sign any current Premiership player for Spurs who would it be? Gerrard If you could sign any current world player for Spurs then who would it be? Deco Spurs Tactic - can Defoe and Keane ever play together? Could 4-3-3 ever work for Spurs? Everything is possible in football, it is a mental thing. Do you have a job in real life? What is it? I am a scientist What did you do with your spare time, before HT? Football, football and football! Can you tell us about your best and worst day in HT? The match 35431102 that I won 4-0 away to my strongest competitor in the first season. The worst day was match 43720104 on 10 July, I lost away to a weaker team, this is going to cost me promotion because everyone in the league plays MOTS against me and that is just too much to coop with. What has been the highlight of the Hattrick season for you? I made a new and good friend thanks to one of the feds I am in. Do you have a favourite Hattrick player and why? (That's an actual player and not manager) Yes, Leon (55419052) is my team's clown, solid leadership and a weak defender ... a bit like me in my own (real) team! If you had the chance,what one thing would you change in HT? There is too much power given to the midfield, calculations on possesion should take into account the whole team. Everyone makes a newbie mistake when they start HT, what was yours? I thought pressing was the key till I realised I was not going to make many goals like that! What position do you train? Have you always trained the same position? No, I trained a lot of passing but I have quite a few older players and I mainly train on the skills they lose to get them back up. Who has been your HT inspiration? My mates in the football team. Have you had any rivalries with other Hattrick managers? Only about women ... Who is the biggest muppet in the Fed and why? I am not long enough a member to know ... Who has been your inspiration or mentor in Hattrick? My own football experience, I think when you build a team you should start at the back and make your way forward. The first thing I did was buy two good defenders and a good keeper ... I won 14 games in a row!
Favourite joke? "Do we have time?" is a joke my british colleagues used to tell everytime they wanted to give me stick about Belgium ... it's about pedophiles on a sinking ship. I hate TV shows, the best football programme is MOTD by far Do you play any other good online games? No time Best movie of the year? The Interpreter What was the last album you bought?
