How did you find Hattrick? A lot of postings on my Danish favorit clubs homepage http://agf-fanclub.dk, where people was telling how great a game Hattrick is. Where did your Hattrick team name come from? In English it is FC Close to Bottomtown, and Bundby is what we call the Danish champions Brøndby, and I live just 3 km from their stadium. How did you discover the wonders of the THFC Fed? When I became supporter I wanted to become a member of a Spurs fed, and the THFC Fed looked like the best. Why did you become a Spurs supporter? Growing up in the 70’s in Denmark, Saturday was equal to soccer from England. Tottenham played without kick-and-rush unlike teams like Derby and Stoke. Favourite current Spurs player? King Greatest ever Spurs player? Steve Perryman and Oswaldo Ardiles Worst ever Spurs player? I tend to forget players that are not that successful. Greatest Spurs manager? Nicholson Worst Spurs manager? Never mind, he isn’t in the club anymore. What has been the high point and low point of the current Spurs season for you? I think the Ars…. match covers both. We could score a lot of goals, unfortunately they scored more. What was the first Spurs match that you saw? (WHL and TV) Never been to WHL L , and I just can’t remember the first time I saw Spurs on TV (I’m getting old, but not so old that I only remembers stuff from my childhood). What is the most memorable Spurs match you have seen and why? The UEFA Cup Final against Anderlect in 1984. Watched the match with a lot of friends, and I was the only one supporting Spurs. What was the worst Spurs match you have ever seen? Can’t think of any, I tend to forget. Do you own any Spurs football shirts? What designs? No, I have never been into club shirts… Favourite Spurs shirt design? As long at they respect the colours it is ok with me. If you could sign any current Premiership player for Spurs who would it be? Difficult question. Could be Henry, mainly to prevent him from scoring that many goals for Arse… If you could sign any current world player for Spurs then who would it be? I would like to see one of the talented players from my Danish club playing for Spurs J A young player like Danillo Arrieta could be interesting, he came back from two years in Valencia last summer, and he is still only 18 years. If I could sign any world class player to Spurs it could be Roberto Carlos. I know he’s old, but I like he’s offensive qualities as a wing back. Spurs Tactic - can Defoe and Keane ever play together? Could 4-3-3 ever work for Spurs? Of cause Defoe and Keane can play together, to much talent is wasted if they are not. 4-3-3 is a waste of time. It can work if the wingers are willing to work hard, and are able to score. Do you have a job in real life? What is it? I have a master degree in economics, but I have only been working in the IT business. I have been teaching IT, and I have been a project manager. For the past 6 years I have been working as a consultant. At the moment I am operating the backbone servers for the Danish military. What did you do with your spare time, before HT? I used to play rugby (prop), until I first injured my knee and after two years of recovering from that I made a comeback and played for two seasons, and then I injured my heel. Can you tell us about your best and worst day in HT? The biggest disappointment wasn’t loosing the final match last season, that cost me the league title, but the second match this season, where I had a 2-2 draw against a team that just promoted (MatchID: 44051714). What has been the highlight of the Hattrick season for you? The THFC Fed Cup. It is an honour to play against such good teams. Do you have a favourite Hattrick player and why? (That's an actual player and not manager) Brian "75D" Madsen (1530718), playing for a now closed down team. Brian had made himself a reputation as a hooligan, from a lot of classic press releases. He was originally a YP made by Loke_ the guy who programmed HAM. The GM’s gave him 75D to honour him, 75D is referring to his favourite bra size. If you had the chance, what one thing would you change in HT? I wouldn’t mind a few more feds. Everyone makes a newbie mistake when they start HT, what was yours? The first season I switched between stamina in one week and then general the next. What position do you train? Have you always trained the same position? Playmaking, and I will continue with that for two seasons, and then I plan to start training wingers. Who has been your HT inspiration? No one… Have you had any rivalries with other Hattrick managers? Not really. But I think that one of the teams in my league is looking at it differently. We both promoted last season, but he finished 4 th and I finished 2 nd. Who is the biggest muppet in the Fed and why? PhantomOpera, when he was defending the Portuguese manager that was leaving the game, decided to buy some Danish U-20 players, just to stop training them. I am also against him posting Portuguese U-20 players from other clubs in the fed market. Who has been your inspiration or mentor in Hattrick? I have been on my own. But I have had a lot of inspiration from talking to managers at IRL HT meeting in Copenhagen. Who makes you laugh in the Hattrick world? Some of the Danish managers are quite funny, LindaStaalballe (member of this fed) of Thugs Inc. (202056) has some really funny press releases (in Danish). ldnfatso is always a good laugh when he present his short and precise analysis’. Hattrick Tactic - what did you make of the Fed Cup final? How would you have played that match? (MatchID=39669507) I was hoping that Titans would win, but Midnattsol was far to strong. Non of the managers wanted to give up their training, for a more offensive tactic, so the strongest team won. When looking at a final, I like to look back on the tournament. And in season 25 some of the strongest English teams was involved in the London cup. Not a success I guess. But it gave some of the less experienced teams, a chance to progress further than expected. Favourite joke? A protestant priest and a catholic priest are driving on a small road. Their cars crash. Fortunately non of them are injured. The catholic priest says that it is the will of the good lord, and it is sign from God, that the two religions should stop fighting. The protestant priest finds a bottle of wine in his totally wrecked car. The bottle is not broken. He tells the catholic priest that it must be a sign from the good lord, and that they should drink a glass of wine to confirm the friendship between the two religions, and gives the catholic priest the bottle (they did not have glasses) to have a drink. After having taken a big zip of wine, he gives the bottle to the protestant priest. Now you drink my friend he says. But the protestant priest says that he would rather wait until the police arrive. Do you have a favourite football chant that makes you laugh? There is a few AGF songs, that are pretty funny, problem is that they are in Danish. Last year the AGF supporters managed to get a lot of attention, when Mohamed Zidan (now playing for Werder Bremen) was filmed with a stolen watch, and the legitimate owner recognised the watch when watching it on TV. That produced a few funny songs. If I should mention a song that can be translated it would be: lå, lå, lå, lå Translated it is something like: lo, lo, lo, lo What is your favourite Book? It is ages since I have been reading a book. But I have been reading Harry Potter for my daughter. What is your favourite TV show? News Do you play any other good online games? No Best movie of the year? StarWar (the only film I have seen this year). What was the last album you bought? Good, bad, indifferent? It is ages since I bought music for my self. I would like to have my old LP records digitalised. |
