How did you find Hattrick? Flat mate How much time do you spend on average, per day, on Hattrick? Depends normally an hour or so but the past few weeks I’ve been on sick and practically live on here, I think I’m on here more for the chat than the game now Where did your Hattrick team name come from? Where I from in Wales the Big local rugby team was known as the Scarlet sans when I was a kid watching Captain Scarlet on TV, I thought he was named after the rugby team (Christ how thick was I when I was a kid). Since then I’ve always liked Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons were the baddies Any significance for your teams strip? Scarlet(not red!!) and Lilywhite, my rugby and football team colours What is the “weird” thing you do in Hattrick that really doesn’t make any sense? I can’t help but check my team at least once a day even though I know nothing will have changed What ambitions do you have in the game, how far would you dream of going? Obviously I’d like win the premiership and win the cup but realistically I’d like to promote out of VI, other than that train a U20 or NT player. Oh and win the Fed cup of course How did you discover the wonders of the THFC Fed? Searched for Spurs joined the 2 Feds, the other one was cack so binned them Why is the THFC Fed your favourite? Good friendly Spurs chat and it does not have the bitching other feds have Any suggestions on how the Fed can be improved? No I like it as it is What other Feds are you a member of and why? Grumpy old men because I am one, if anyone has a fed spot free I’d recommend it. HAM users and London Hattrick association Why did you become a Spurs supporter? Good question, I don’t know! I remember when I was a kid all my mates started picking their teams, they all went for Liverpool, Man U or Everton and I flirted with all 3 because they all had Welsh players, then the next thing I now I’m a Spurs fan. It might have been the Panini Club badge sticker that was cool Favourite current Spurs player? Robbie Keane and Robbo Greatest ever Spurs player? Mainly because he’s Welsh and was in the double side Cliff Jones, if I had to pick someone I’ve seen play Hoddle Worst ever Spurs player? This is really harsh because he was a great servant to the club and was a good player but Garry Mabbut, whenever I think of him I think own goal Greatest Spurs manager? Got to Bill Nicholson Worst Spurs manager? Gross, nuff said What has been the high point and low point of the last Spurs season for you? Last season high point was against Liverpool first game of the season and my first game as a season ticked holder (Park lane, block 33) and the low point was going out to Liverpool in the league cup. What was the first Spurs match that you saw? (WHL and TV) TV – 87 Semi final against Watford, WHL Southampton 03/04 Hoddle quit the next day :-( , bought my ticket off a group of Swedish fans who’d come over for the game, nice lads. What is the most memorable Spurs match you have seen and why? Well it’s certainly the 91 FA cup but can’t decide between the final or semi What was the worst Spurs match you have ever seen? Middlesbrough a few years back, got to have been the most boring 0-0 I’ve ever seen Do you own any Spurs football shirts? What designs? Medicinal Chemist (Cancer research) What did you do with your spare time, before HT? Poker used to play a lot online, I find hattrick a lot cheaper, still play the odd home game and go down to the poker club (Gutshot). Can you tell us about your best and worst day in HT? Best day was the first game this season beat the team that game down, didn’t expect that so it’s looking good to win it this year. Worst has to be the I first went on Newbie and realised my first 18 months on here had been a waste of time (see below) What has been the best improvement made to Hattrick and why? Can’t think of any that’s had a significant impact on my Hattrick experience. Ohh wait a minute nearly forgot about the arena viewer What has been the highlight of the Hattrick season for you? (That's an actual player and not manager) Daniel Alberto Nieto (64788048), He’ll be my first trainee sale going to hit Outstanding in the next few weeks, then he’s gone Who has been you best recent Hattrick signing and why? Scott Bright-Thomas (81864534), bought him as 17yo Excellent and assumed he had just popped to excellent but popped after 4 weeks with a passable coach Do you have any players that don’t really play, but you keep them anyway? why? Gregory Brennan (88904658) he was a youth pull that didn’t sell, I use him as a sub striker If you had the chance,what one thing would you change in HT? More incentive to train multi skilled players Everyone makes a newbie mistake when they start HT, what was yours? Training General for 18 months, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be where I am now if I had started training then. I also put early bid in once to help another manager, I put in the bid he asked for only then to realise he’d asked in Euro’s. What position do you train? Have you always trained the same position? PM with stamina in the off season If you were giving advice to a new Hattrick player now, what would you say? Don’t spend any money, read the rules and spend a few days on newbie Who has been your HT inspiration? No one Have you had any rivalries with other Hattrick managers? Not really there was one team who was stuck in my league longer than me but he’s gone now Who is the biggest muppet in the Fed and why? Don’t think there is one, although there is one member who didn’t know who Cliff Jones was Who has been your inspiration or mentor in Hattrick? No one, learnt what little I know from reading Newbie Who makes you laugh in the Hattrick world? (either Fed conference or elsewhere) Most of the GOM fed Nuttybongo in particular Favourite joke? Whats brown and sticky? A Stick (I’ll get my coat) Do you have a favourite football chant that makes you laugh? Your going down with Rover @ WBA fans last year, though doubt we’ll do that again. What is your favourite Book? The Glory Game - Hunter Davies, brilliant book. Somehow he got to follow Spurs round for the season, going through the ups and downs of players he even managed to get into the changing room at halftime What is your favourite TV show? 24, little Britain and Rome Do you play any other good online games? No Christina Aguilera or Britney Spears in nothing but a Spurs home shirt, you can only have one, who would it be? Aguilera Best movie of the year? Haven’t been to the Cinema in a while, though I will be going to see Walk the line Best movie of all time?
