How many seasons have you played Hattrick? LOTS. In my fifth year now.

Honours? 2 league trophies, along with a number if cupsets including knocking out a reigning Premiership champion. A long time ago now though :( I also had the best U20 player in England for a season.

How did you find Hattrick? Through a friend from another online game that I used to play.

How much time do you spend on average, per day, on Hattrick? A lot less than I used to. Although I have Hattrick open about ten hours a day, I probably only spend a couple hours tops with work and personal restrictions taking over to an extent.

Where did your Hattrick team name come from? I’ve always been known for being a pedantic shite, so that one was easy enough. The old team name ‘U Mess Wif Me I Kil U Now’ was a bit more random – a message I got in an old game from someone who wanted to kick the living crap out of me. Charming :)

Any significance for your teams strip? None whatsoever. I should probably change it to something more interesting really!

What is the “weird” thing you do in Hattrick that really doesn’t make any sense? Being a GM? I used to have a few random routines before youth pulls that never made any difference. Bizarrely, my youth pulls have been better since I stopped…

What ambitions do you have in the game, how far would you dream of going ? I had built a team that I felt were capable of wining a III league when I was in IV. Had some lousy injuries and results, so I sold my team and rebuilt an English one. Looking at getting to III in the next 5 seasons.

How did you discover the wonders of the THFC Fed? Initially, I had a look for Spurs related feds when I first got the supporter package. This time round, TK begged me to come back.

Why is the THFC Fed your favourite? You’re making quite an assumption aren’t you! It’s always nice to get a rundown on the games I’m not able to see, even if the viewpoint is sometimes a touch biased ;)

Any suggestions on how the Fed can be improved? I don’t really think there’s that much that you can do with any federation – it’s all down to the community aspect of the game, the members make the federation.

What other Feds are you a member of and why? Grumpy Old Men for obvious reasons. Footballers In Silly Hats, which was a splinter group of an old federation. The Hattrick Boozer federation. The Yorkshire Federation – it’s where I’m currently exiled to :/

Why did you become a Spurs supporter? My Dad took me to go and see Viking Stavanger play Spurs in Norway (I lived there) around 1990. He got my a shirt too. I still have it :)

Favourite current Spurs player? Aaron Lennon. No doubt.

Greatest ever Spurs player? So many. But in my lifetime, probably Lineker or Gascoigne.

Worst ever Spurs player? Ronnie Rosental, although Thorstvedt had a few shockers in his time too!

Greatest Spurs manager? In my memory, I though Venables was the best that we had, although I expect Jol to surpass any of his achievements.

Worst Spurs manager? Ozzie Ardiles / Christian Gross

What has been the high point and low point of the last Spurs season for you? Finishing in 5 th was the high point, losing out to Arsenal on the final day was sickening.

What was the first Spurs match that you saw? (WHL and TV) First game I saw was against Viking Stavanger, I really can’t remember my first game at the lane. First game I remember seeing on TV was against Ipswich in 1992 (?) when Jason Cundy scored with a drop kick from just behind the half way line :)

What is the most memorable Spurs match you have seen and why? When we won the League Cup (which began my lifelong hatred towards Robbie Savage) and winning the FA Cup. Thanks Des :)

What was the worst Spurs match you have ever seen? Losing 4-3 to Man City after being 3-0 up.

Do you own any Spurs football shirts? What designs? I’ve got the home strip from 1990, the purple change HP kit, last seasons blue one, the recent yellow Holsten one, along with a couple others along the way.

Favourite Spurs shirt design? I really liked the Purple HP one.

If you could sign any current Premiership player for Spurs who would it be? Michael Carrick :(

If you could sign any current world player for Spurs then who would it be? I wouldn’t say no to Ronaldinho, but I’d rather see players coming through the youth system and proving themselves in England.

Do you have a job in real life? What is it? I’m a Customer Communication Analyst for a ISP called PlusNet in Sheffield. Basically I work in Marketing.

What did you do with your spare time, before HT? TV, Beer, the usual.

Can you tell us about your best and worst day in HT? Best day was either a doubt knocking Israel Crazy Dolphins out of the cup or getting my GM colours :). The worst day was probably when I slumped down to division V. That kind of thing generally happens when your team value is non existent.

What has been the best improvement made to Hattrick and why? Increased number of federations and general improvements to supporter. The game itself really isn’t that amasing, but the community side is what makes it so popular.

What has been the highlight of the Hattrick season for you? There really hasn’t been one. Seeing Ville Warriors lose is always good fun though.

Do you have a favourite Hattrick player and why? (That's an actual player and not manager) Yulian Popov. Although he hasn’t achieved his full potential, he was always my baby.

Who has been you best recent Hattrick signing and why? Ask me again in a season or two. I’m rebuilding dammit.

Do you have any players that don’t really play, but you keep them anyway? why? No.

If you had the chance, what one thing would you change in HT? Actually implement the “score a goal” button.

Everyone makes a newbie mistake when they start HT, what was yours? I didn’t really. My friend that got me to sign up had already made most of them so was able to warn me about them all :)

What position do you train? Have you always trained the same position? Defending. Started off with Stamina, then Goalkeeping, then Playmaking, then Scoring.

If you were giving advice to a new Hattrick player now, what would you say? Training is key.

Who has been your HT inspiration or mentor? A Norwegian friend of mine, was at the time a Mod, now just “Zteuer”.

Have you had any rivalries with other Hattrick managers? Always.

Who is the biggest muppet in the Fed and why? Jacques_Santini. He is the epitome of muppetdom :)

Who makes you laugh in the Hattrick world? (either Fed conference or elsewhere) Hodge normally manages to get a smirk out of me. There’s quite a few really. As mentioned previously, I always find it funny when the egocentric one that is Ville Man loses.

Do you have a favourite football chant that makes you laugh? I remember when we played Newcastle just before the Bowyer trial “You’re going down, You’re going down, Bowyer’s going down.”

What is your favourite Book? Really enjoyed the Da Vinci Code, but my favourite is probably The Green Mile by Stephen King.

What is your favourite TV show? Lost / Prison Break / 24 / West Wing

Do you play any other good online games? Popomundo.

The man/woman of your dreams in nothing but a Spurs home shirt; who would that be? Denise Richards.

Best movie of the year? Really enjoyed Superman Returns, Batman Begins and X-Men 3.

Best movie of all time? Donnie Darko

What was the last album you bought? Good, bad, indifferent? Dashboard Confessional – Dusk and Summer. Really liked it.

Favourite album of all time? I’ve heard so many :/ I couldn’t possibly give an answer as it would probably change on a daily basis :)
